Success is dependent on an effective team approach working within a matrix organization.  only will you enjoy sharing your skills, creativity and team spirit as a Customs Compliance Manager for one of the industry's largest suppliers of branded office products, but you will grow in your career as you learn and share experience with your new colleagues.  Position Responsibilities- Management of Customs Import Operations.  Supervise and manage department in areas concerning classification, valuation, record keeping and brokerage management.  Review activities and perform audits of process on a periodic basis while maintaining and updating Customs Compliance Manual as a working and living document as proof to Customs that procedures are being supported by review of daily activities.  Be a support to employees with issues surrounding any area of importation - from assisting in compliance issues to assisting business with origin markings or FDA or other governmental agencies.  Customs Central Liaison for Import, Interact and support all customs initiatives as they relate to ACCO Brands import activities.  Support ACE programs for both legal entities and provide direction to the Director of the department in terms of Customs compliance ratings and metrics.  Oversee activities as they relate to Customs audit activities, internal audit support and SOX compliance.  Coordinate initiatives and activities with EU Customs Controller.  Brokerage Management.  Review and monitor performance of service providers as it relates to quality of customs compliance activities that the Customs broker is performing.  Ensure that internal metrics are reported on and improved upon by conducting monthly assessments / meetings with brokerage partners.  Customs Compliance Manuals/Procedures.  Ensure that all procedures are documented as well as tested to support customs compliance requirements.  Conduct periodic audits to review process and provide education and improvement plans where needed to ensure improvements in compliance activities. Position Qualifications.  B.S. degree required. Prefer a bachelor's degree in an applicable field (International Business or International Logistics.  7+ years experience in similar position at an importer already working to support customs compliance activities.  Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate environment/setting is required.  At least 1 year of supervisory experience.  Brokerage license , US Customs experience, and Customs compliance Focused Assessment experience.  Customs Regulations knowledge is required.  Excellent Organization, Communication and Presentation skills are required.  Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.  Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and through cross-functional teams; Ability to communicate at all levels.  Knowledge of product specifications, customer and consumer perspective a plus.  Project management skills with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities is required.  A quick learner in a cross functional/matrix organization.  Experience in project management as well as hands-on customs compliance experience is required.  Excellent risk mitigation, problem identification, and problem solving capability are required.  Experience working with global teams and vendors is a tremendous advantage.   Excellent computer skills- inclusive of all Microsoft Business Suite required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)  Domestic &amp; international travel is required (approximately 30%).  Local candidates required.

The Pricing Analyst must follow price trends in the marketplace using industry databases, catalogs and other industry sources. The Pricing Analyst will also be responsible for implementing and ensuring adherence to the following major processes at ACCO:  Researching, establishing and updating pricing models.  Administering daily pricing and maintaining price lists.  Day to day maintenance of customer pricing.  Position Responsibilities:  Administration and execution of pricing strategy.  Implementation of specific price strategies.  Maintain and creation of databases of information on marketplace, cost, competition, consumer price drivers and ensure there are effective process for gathering this information within Sales and Marketing.  Utilizing effective pricing analysis tools to manage process for updating product line pricing.  Review, audit and enter all pricing vehicles submitted that meet ACCO guidelines.  Audit pricing entries to ensure correctness in customer systems.  Maintain complete and accurate pricing and product information in hard copy files of any/all changes.
